2017 Convallis Ranch & Winery L’jument Cabernet Sauvignon Alexandar Valley

“The Mare” is a softer, more feminine expression of the same, luscious Alexander Valley fruit. This wine approaches with complex aromas of earth and jammy fruit along with notes of leather from the oak barrels. On the palate, it is more directed and gentle on the immediate mouthfeel and offers floral notes with layers of baking spice and cooked fruit, but then finishes with a faint earthiness and spice.
